Callicarpa americana – American beauty-berry
Description
American beauty-berry most often grows 2 – 1.5 m tall and usually just as wide, It can reach 2 m in height in favourable soil and moisture conditions. It has long, arching branches and yellow-green fall foliage, but its most striking feature is the clusters of glossy, iridescent-white fruit which hug the branches at leaf axils in the autumn and winter.
