Description

Hedychium coronarium is a perennial growing to 1.5 m by 1 m at a fast rate.
It is frost tender. It is in flower from late summer to early winter. The species is hermaphrodite (has both male and female organs). Suitable for light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils. Suitable pH is acid, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils.
